Home Body Scrub

This treatment will remove all dead skin, soothe your senses & lift your spirits.
You need :
  • A bathtub
  • 2-3 drops of rose or lavender essential oil
  • 1/2 cup sea salt
  • 2-3 table spoon massage oil of your choice
  • A good shampoo & conditioner
  • 2 table spoon liquid chocolate
  • Nail filer
  • Cuticle cream
  • 2-3 table spoon turmeric powder mixed with 1 table spoon rose water
  • Foot scrubber
  • A good body lotion
Ok Now do this...
Light some candles & fill your tub with hot water. Put 2-3 drops of essential oil & some of the sea salt.
Mix the rest of the salt with the massage oil & apply it all over the body. Keep for 15-20 minutes & relax. Then wash off.
Next, shampoo your hair & apply the conditioner mixed with a little chocolate; massage gently into the roots & tuck your hair under a shower cap.
While you wait for your hair to heal, file your nails & put the cuticle cream on your cuticles. Then clean your face with the turmeric mix.
Now just slip into the tub full of warm water. Relax & soak for 10-20 minutes. While you are in the tub, give your feet a nice scrub.
After finishing, wipe yourself semi dry & body lotion. Believe me, you will feel like a princess!

HOME BODY POLISH

This is a complete body treatment. It will give you a new skin.

Things you need:
A massage cream

Exfpliator :
Mix 15-20 crushed sesame seeds , 2 tbsp honey and a few dried mint leaves.

Massage Oil :
50 ml olive or sesame (till) oil mixed with 8-10 drops of essential oil. “Choose according to your mood: Lavender relaxes, jasmine makes you happy, rose calms and cinnamon relieves fatigue.”

Body polish mask:
mix the pulp of a small papaya and a cucumber with one part honey four parts oatmeal, two parts yoghurt and one part orange juice.

Body lotion:
Mix 6 tbsp rose water, 4 tbsp orange juice and one tsp pure glycerin.

Cloth bundle:
Make a bundle of a slightly wet, clean cloth filled with besan, oatmeal, dry and ground mint leaves, rose petals, almond meal and a pinch of turmeric powder . you will also need a small and a large towel.

How to do it:
start with exfoliation. Mix the scrub and apply it on your body. After 10 to 15 minutes, massage your skin gently and then wash it. Prepare the bathtub with hot water and add a few drops of essential oil. Soak in the bathtub while rubbing the cloth bundle on your body. Lie and relax. After coming out, massage your body with the massage oil. Use medium pressure in long up and down stroking movements, following the muscles of the arms and legs. Remember, all massage sequences should end with upward strokes towards the heart.
Rest for a few minutes and then apply the body polish mask. Lie on a mat and just allow your body to sweat and absorb the mixture full of vitamins and enzymes. Then rub gently all over and wipe off with a soft moist towel.
After washing the mask off , apply the body lotion and then wipe off with a moist towel after 15 minutes .

Body Scrub at Home

Body scrub is easy to do at home and leaves your skin clean and rejuvenated. You can do it once a fortnight, but avoid for at least two days after a wax or razor session.
Things you need

  • 1 small ripe papaya
  • 50 g grain powder
  • 50 g rice powder
  • 50 g sea salt
  • 50 ml honey
  • 100ml milk or curd

How to do it :
Mash the papya in a grinder and mix with all the other ingredients except for the milk or curd. Blend well with hand.
Now steam your body all over with a portable home steamer or simply have a hot water bath.
Apply the mixture all over your body, covering each and every part from face to toe. Then lie down on a plastic sheet for 20 minits.
Next, take the milk or curd and apply carefully on each body part, scrubbing the area gently in circular movements. You can also use a soft loofah for scrubbing your skin. When finished take another warm, thorough shower. Wipe off the excess moisture and apply body lotion all over when your skin is still a little wet.
Enjoy clean and smooth akin.
